Hi, I’m Devesh. I’m a software engineer who’s gravitated toward backend and distributed systems — drawn to problems of scale, coordination, and reliability.

I currently work at Refold.ai (formerly Cobalt), where I build workflow orchestration and integration infrastructure, scaling execution pipelines that process over a million workflow executions a day.

What I work on

My engineering focus is on the harder parts of distributed systems: workflow engines, multi-tenant architectures, integration platforms, and reliable execution infrastructure. I care about scalability, system design, and building things that hold up under real-world load.

I work primarily in Go and Node.js, with deep experience in Temporal for workflow orchestration, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

Beyond engineering

I enjoy writing, gaming, music, philosophy, and building small tools and side projects. I’m also an amateur student of philosophy and the arts.
